Xbox Is Teasing Early Access to Grand Theft Auto 6
Xbox's official account posted a Series X with the GTA VI tile already installed — a day after an insider said review codes for the game are already circulating.
What Xbox posted
Xbox's official account on X posted, on October 27, 2026, a photo of a "fall lineup" showing an Xbox Series X with its dashboard displaying the official Grand Theft Auto VI tile already installed, alongside Call of Duty and EA FC 27, according to a report by GTA Boom.
Why this is getting attention now
The photo surfaced less than 24 hours after a trusted insider claimed GTA 6 review codes are already being sent out to press, with an embargo set for November 18, 2026 — one day before the game's official launch on November 19, 2026.
What this actually means
Fans speculated online that Xbox may already have an early build of the game running internally. This kind of practice is common for marketing purposes and hardware-compatibility testing, and shouldn't be read as an official public early-access announcement — neither Microsoft, Rockstar Games, nor Take-Two Interactive have confirmed any early-access program.
What's next
With GTA 6's global launch set for November 19, 2026 and the review embargo lifting November 18, expect more details about console availability (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) in the coming weeks.
